G Force T5 Dog Gear trans (their case)

Who has any experience with this upgrade? For $3800.00 I REALLY want to know this thing will hold together as advertised. I tore forth gear out of my World Class and have considered a G Force Dog Gear T5 with their reinforced case for some time.

What scares me is while doing research I have found two that have torn third gear out and twisted the rear shaft. Is this Transmission really capable to 750+ hp......maybe not, but what is? The Tremec is only rated to 600hp as is the Richmond.

Help me out here guys!

I wouldn't even consider plunking down that kinda cash for one of those! No matter what kind of reinforcements they've done to it, in the end it's still a T5. They were never meant to be used in a high output car. I also have to ask, in your searching, did you notice the really long post in the aftermarket products forum about G-Force not standing behind their product? Basically, after spending that kind of money, if you break something, they more or less leave you out to sea. In all honesty, for the money, you can't beat the Tremec TKO. Don't let the rating fool you, they're tough as hell. Btw, it's 600 ft. lbs., not HP. I bought a TKO from a fellow member here that was running it behind a twin turbo, 406 powered, 86 Iroc. He said it dynoed around 745 HP and almost 800 ft. lbs. of torque, and he said the TKO never missed a beat. Unless you're running some ungodly nasty motor, throw a TKO in there and call it a day! P.S. Just noticed the info in your sig. Pretty healthy for a 305, but I still think the TKO would hold. I noticed Baldwin-Motion is using the TKO's in those new, big block powered 69 Camaros they're selling lately, if that's of any reassurance.

they apparently make a TKO900, i would assume it follows ranks and is good for 900 ft/lbs, maybe look into that.
