No, the bolt pattern is different. Furthermore, there's more to the conversion than just swapping the backing plates (the axel flanges are different). You might search Ed Miller, ebmiller88, who makes a kit that might interest you.

Re: 9bolt brakes to a 10 bolt
coll thanks.. long story short, i have all the parts to build a real nice 10bolt, thinking thats what i should have.. pulled rear to see i had a 9 bolt. i buddy has a 10 bolt with drums on it and i wanted to upgrade to disk without spending too much $$
Re: 9bolt brakes to a 10 bolt
I'm not 100% sure if the 9 bolt backing plates will work on the 10 bolt, but I know it works the other way around. We used 10 bolt backing plates on my buddy's 9 bolt rear. He blew up his 10 bolt, and the 9 bolt he had laying around didn't have any brakes on it, so we just adapted the 10 bolt discs to it. Had to router the mounting holes out a bit, but it wasn't hard to do, and worked out fine. I would imagine it'd work the other way around just as well. Since it's a drum rear, you'd also have to modify the flanges at the ends of the axle tubes. You have to cut off the part with the big hole where the line for the wheel cylinder goes through and drill the top two holes for the disc backing plate. There's a tech article on the main page that explains how to do this. None of these things are real difficult to do, but then again, it's much easier to just run the drums!
