Can I get a 700R4 to bolt up to a Pontiac 400?

Engine: modified L98
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.27 9-bolt
Yeah, you can do it with an adapter plate I believe. But you may just want to look at using a 200r4 instead. They had both the Chevy and BOP bolt patterns.
