700 durability???

I am going to install a 700 in my 91 with my 406. I had a th350 but I liked the lower 1st gear ratio of the 700 better plus my brother gave it to me for free. It's been working fine for a couple years in his van he just totaled out.
So,, What does this need in order to survive behind my 406??
My engine is 10:1 with Vortec heads, Holley 750, 1 3/4" headers, Performer RPM intake and the cam is a 230/230 .48/.48 hydraulic. I used one of the computer sims and I get around 400 hp and 450 torque.
Thanks,,, Matt
