T5 shifting rough/slight grind
Only in third and fourth. Its got 103k miles on it. When i shift into third/fourth, it feels/sounds like its grinding a bit. My master/slave cyclinders were new in january, i dont know whats up.

I've never rebuilt anything lol - I was going to attempt to buy a rebuilt one, and install it myself - how hard would that be to do with basic garage tools (what is necesary to buy?)
Should i just get a world class for a v6? What would happen if i put a T56 in a v6?
Actually, if anyone near NJ wants to make some money and help me i'd be willing to do that - I have to learn this stuff.

Another thing i noticed weird, was after being in traffic for 2 hours, the metal park of the E-brake was warm- Ive never noticed it being warm, could that mean the tran. was running hotter than it should have been?

As far as swapping the tranny, it is easy to do with just a socket and wrench set and a floor jack. Follow the instructions in the haynes manual except for removing the rear springs for the torque arm, that's not necessary. I've had so much trouble with my t-5 I can pull it out and put it in in about an hour and a half by myself.

About the parking brake handle... Check the lower rubber shift boot. I have heat coming up there if the windows are open because it draws a vacuum and that boot has a rip. After all, the catalytic converter is right there and operates at what, 1400F? So check that before worrying about the transmission.
