What year should i look for? I want something around 2000 stall. If you have part numbers that would be great. Its for an 85 700r4.

Get the converter from a late model (1995+) S10 pickup with the L35 4.3L V6.
its basically the same as the vette model (2,050rpm stall), but newer in design.
its GM Part #24202310
the part # for the 85-86 vette converter, if you so choose to get it still is #24201203
try searching gmpartsdirect.com with those part #'s you will find them alot cheaper there than at a dealer.
