TH350 swap for 700R4

I need to know the cleanest most efficient way to swap a TH350 for the 700R4. More specifically, will the stock cross member suffice to secure the turbo and are the splines the same for the yoke?

A long tail shaft TH350 (9") is the easiest to swap since the driveshaft will fit without any modifications. The output splines are the same. The mounting pad on the TH350 is 2" forward from the 700R4. Weld some sort of extension to the existing crossmember. You'll need to find some way to remount the torque arm. I've heard there's adaptor kits available but I don't know how they work. I bought a Steve Spohn arm and it bolts to his own crossmember.
