squealing noise

Car: 84 firebird T/A
Engine: shinny 350
Transmission: slush box L65
Axle/Gears: Torsen "3.73"
squealing noise
Who can help me determine what this intermittent squealing noise is coming from my trany?
seems to work fine but if I pop it in gear it squeals...sometimes while in gear it squeals but the trany feels strong. I just put a 3000 stall TCI converter in it and this is when it started. sounds like pump noise but just dont know.
looking for suggestions
