I have just one question. Is is possible to get a 700-R4 to be fully manual? By manual I mean to have the ability to shift it 1-2-3-D and D-3-2-1 without any automatic shifts?

Trans-Go shift kit can do this but your tranny will forever be manual. You'll have to shift it ALL the time.
The instructions are easy and you can do it in about 4 - 8 hours. The kit cost around $120 but they give you addition part numbers you can get from the dealer to add even better performance.
