IIRC, it's more like 6 quarts.

It took 6 quarts,
shift kits are a pain in the *** to put in, I dont think Ill ever do another. For DIYers' you do not want to do this with jackstands.
I did it under a lift and it was still a BITCH
but for 40$ everyone should get one, the end result is awesome chirp em in 2nd no problem with 2.73.
