Here's the scoop:

I replaced my 7R4 with a T-5 this last summer. My IROC has 2.73 rear end and the RPO code says that it came with 16x8's but now has 15x7 on it. Becuase of all of this I need a 17 tooth driven gear so that my speedo reads correctly. I've got a 20 tooth in there now and I'm 10-15 mph off (low). Does anyone know where I can get this gear besides GM - any aftermarket places???

Whats wrong with the dealer? Speedo gears are cheap from them.

The problem is that since there wasn't an IROC with 2.73 and a T-5 they (GM) don't list a gear with 17 teeth. The smallest is 19 teeth.

 

There's an 18 tooth brown gear.
