I am finally swapping in my 385 and th350 into my 82 z28 but I have run into a issue with my cross member. The tranny mount stud is about a 1/2 to 3/4 inch to far back to go into the slot. I thought the th200c and the th350's mounting location is the same. Did I do something wrong or what?

 

That is the supposed story that i was told. Sounds like you need the B & M Swap kit. It should come with a relocator for the mount on the crossmember. or at least that's what i did with my swap.
