Hey all L98 owners, what rpm does your tranny shift at WOT from 1-2. Mine hits about 4500 then shifts into 2. How bout you guys? Do I need to adjust my TV cable?

 

well, i don't have a L98, but on my LB9 (305) at WOT it will shift at 5500 and my redline starts at 5000 so, 4500 sounds really low on a 350.

Mods: Hypertech Airfoil, gutted airboxes, K&Ns,polished 91' rims (they turned pink!), and all rear end bushings & tranny mout are energy suspension poly ones now

It varies, but usually around 4,750 rpm. 2-3 happens at just over 5,000 rpm.

 

1-2 happens at about 5000 rpm.
2-3 goes to around 5200 rpm.

This is after I replaced the Ignition Contorl Module. Can't wait till the tracks open again!

1-2 at 5500 2-3 at 5000 and 3-4 at 4500
thats after i had the tranny done with new governor,different springs, corvette servo, corvette converter(good mod),blah blah blah, the tranny is great i was running 14.5 before tranny and convertor

MY TRANNY SHIFTS JUST SHY OF 6,000 AND I HAVE RUN IT THAT WAY FOR ALMOST A YEAR.. I HAVE EVEN HAD IT TO 6300 RPMS.. IT DIDNT EVEN RATTLE. I WAS SURPRISED. AND YES YOU NEED TO ADJUST YOUR TV CABLE.. HOPE I COULD HELP..
