NEED HELP ON REBUILD TRANS DECISION?

I have the chance to buy the TPI performance transmission from the Turkey Rod run in Daytona, has anyone ever used or heard anything good or bad about this company and their quality on their rebuilds? I can purchase a rebuilt trans, trans cooler, 2200 stall speed conv, trans mount, harness for lock up, flywheel cover, and new style dip stick tube for 1495.00 is this a good deal or should I save up and buy the Pro built and continetal stall speed conv. need advise asap will purchase trans on Sat.

I have never heard of them before.
IMO, I would stick with a more reputable company, like Pro Built as you mentioned.

Mr Pro Built Automatics... I went your policies page and it sort of says that because of the nature then race transmissions are used there are no express or implied warrantys. I was seriously considering one of your race 700R4 transmissions, but after I read that I'm kinda iffy about it. After I got ****ed over by the local tranny shop who denied me coverage because they thought I was racing, I wonder what you are gonna say if the tranny fails me within the warranty period.

I have been giving one year warrantys for many years now. I will have to look at my warranty on the web site and see what it says. I had someone who specializes in web sites put mine together about two years ago, and you are the first to tell me this. I will have to correct this next time hes goes into the site. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
