How hard to install Transgo????

Just wondering how hard it is to install the Transgo shift kit and a vette servo on a 700r4. No experience with transmissions... I know you get a video, but how difficult for a beginnner???

I've done quite a bit to my cars but have always been afraid of trannies. So how bad is it, I would like to put that shift kit in my 700r4 as well.

I had never touched a transmission and I did it on my 86 IROC about 2 years ago. The video with the trans-go kit is for a truck that isn't exactly the same. Your back will hurt, you will doubt yourself, you will say a few choice words, and you'll kick yourself in the *** when you try to take the valve body off while keeping all the retainer ***** in place but they end up going all over the floor. I had extra trouble, my 4th accumulator piston ring spring was snapped in two and the kit doesn't come with an extra. God, now that I think back to it... I will never do it again. I had tranny fluid all over. My eyes, my nose, my ears... I despise the smell now. I recommend having another person help. She shifts harder than a bitch now. Never a slip, never an unwanted shift... always firm and I know it helped my ETs. It's up to you if you have the time and patience. Not impossible, but close.
