I read an article said that a common problem with the 700R4 trans was it couldn not upshift from 3rd to 4th under full throttle. The article also said that there is a valve that was put on police cars that took car of this problem and let the car upshift under full throttle. They say that it cost about 15 bucks + installation. Any one know of this part and if installation can be done myself? Here is the part number 8673948.
