Noise sounds like its coming from the tranny or/and the rearend
Can anyone give me some reasons why my 86' 2.8 5-speed makes a winding noise when im cruising above 40 down the street with the clutch in? Also when im cruising slow and the shifter is in 1st or 2nd gear it will make a nasty grinding noise till i put the shifter in neutral. Am i going to need some expensive trans. work???
