got the old pedals out today and was going to install them too but was wondering if i should wait for the hydraulics to get here first before trying? What would the best way to go about installing them be? (pedals and hydraulics)

I'll assume you are talking about manual trans swap. The best way to do it is to install the pedals first. Then you have an exact template for the master cylinder. When the pedals are in you you can drill the holes right through the pedal mount. For the center hole I just drilled LOTS of little holes and punched it out. You can clean the edges up with a dremel or even just leave it alone. As long as the linkage with go through.
