i have a 86 model 700r4
sometimes the car will not drive, no forward gears or revers gears will work, just acts like its in neutral. but other day i can get in it and it will work if i shift from forward to reverse a bunch of times then i can drive it all day and it shift perfect and firm. iv pulled the torque converter and re filled it and i have also made sure it was filled properly, and that the shifter cable was adjusted properly. any ideas what would be causing this would help
