Making a 700R4 stronger

How can you make a 700R4 stand up to really hard driving? I've heard they aren't the toughest transmission.

Besides getting an aftermarket tranny, after 1989 (I believe), they added some better pumps and stuff to the 700R4. Corvette servo and shift kit (though some don't like them...) will help. Tranny coolers are a good thing to add no matter what.

Yes, there a lot of things that you can do to the 700R4 to make it last longer under power and still have reasonable quality shifts. Give me a call at 800 7763288 Mon-Sat 10-6 PST. I will be glad to answer any of your questions concerning this.
Glad Too Help!!!
