TCI Speedo Chart Down: Need gear for 3.27 change
I spent the last couple hours+ searching our site for a direct answer. I switched my 9-bolt 2.77 highway gears to the 3.27 set/700r4. I have an 88' IROC with the speedo cable and just want to know what color gear(s) exactly I need to change. I found lots of 'how-to's' but I must be thick brained.
The TCIAUTO.com calculator site is down/don't know if it's a permanent thing?
Can you help a mentally retarded member please?

It's back up right now
With a 17 tooth drive gear and a 25" tall tire the lt blue gear mentioned should work O.K.

Re: TCI Speedo Chart Down: Need gear for 3.27 change
Thanks for pitching an answer in guys; I'm just ready to pull the driveshaft for a balance and a new set of U-joints and I was tearing my hair out looking for an answer. Interestingly, the shop that did the Stage III trany build just didn't seem to know what speedo gear was correct. That's when I knew I was in deep trouble....... Ouch! Nitro-Nicky
