Steps to switch from a T5 to a T56

How much does it cost to get a T56 from a junk yard, and what are the steps to converting a 91z28j T-5(no linkage, hydrolic clutch) to a T-56.. Thanks for the info. And could I just get a L98 covette engine and drop it in my car no prob?
