T56 alignment question?
I put a T56 with the sphon crossmember in my 91 camaro today and the trans mount lines up in the side hole on the crossmember....there are three holes for the transmount bolt to go through and mine is not falling in the center hole. I am just wondering if this is normal or if I should be trying to get it in the center hole?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: T56 alignment question?
Does your crossmember have the driveshaft loop with it? Mine does and if I didn't put the tranny in the middle slot, the driveshaft was too close to one side of the loop. If you don't have the loop, it shouldn't matter which slot you use, as long as there's no other clearance issues.

Re: T56 alignment question?
The crossmember probably needs to be moved. The holes where the cross member attaches to the car are elongated so just loosen the bolts and moved it around until the tranny mount lines up.
