It is not too hard to install if you are familiar with simple hand tools. I would allow 4 to 5 hours for the install. You have to drill a couple of holes in the floor, cut out part of the console with a keyhole saw or similar and connect up some wiring.

It is worth the effort IMHO.

I have had my megashifter for a year and a half and it still shifts great. I think my reverse light switch is coming loose cause it doesn't go off untill I downshift to drive. Other than that it is great

Had one for about 3 years, no problems....... Well, there is one little thing, the chrome plating comes off the T handle, but that's not a problem w/ the function of the shifter.

thanks guys...so how hard was it to put in?...about how long did it take?...i've done a moderate amount of work on cars but it was more "service type" work than performance (plugs, wires, and other mantience stuff basicly)...do u think i'll have trouble with this?...thanks

You should not have any problems. I installed a couple a few months ago for friends. The first one took about four hours and the second about 3 hours. Read the directions and (Take Your Time)
