T5 doesn't engage after install
Ok... so here i am again in need of some info. I replaced my clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and pilot bushing. After i got done (
should have tested the clutch first ) i put it in first to see if everything was working correctly. Well in fact it wasn't
. I only have minimal pressure in the pedal. The car grinded into reverse. And in first it tries to move the tires but fails. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I would and know how to use the "search" link, but it is 2:30am and i have been working on the car since 5:00pm yesterday. lol. P.S this is my "First Install"

More than likely you have the throwout bearing installed incorrectly. Search this forum for "throwout bearing" and you'll find some pics.

every once in a while you can get it all the way together, and sometimes you have to get it close enough to thread a few bolts... then cinch it up

Right on. Thanks for the info. I finaly have it mounted.
Now if I can only bleed the system good enough i can get back on the road
Any advice bleeding the system? I purchased a new slave cylinder, and filled it as much as possible with it off. but i still get minimal pressure at the pedal.
