Stainless, Aluminum, or Titanium Wheel Studs???

Anyone ever used or know where I could get some press in style lug studs? 7/16 diameter and non-ferrous (not magnetic)

we are using traction control on our FSAE car and cannot find a lug stud that will not interfer with our Hall Effect sensors.

Anyhelp would be appreciated.

are you refering to filtering out the signal from it? I can see how that would be pretty easy if it was at a higher frequency, but it is the same signal that comes from the trigger wheel. What will happen is that everytime the stud rotates by it will trigger before it is supposed to

All of those materials that you listed are going to be weaker than the steel studs, except maybe the titanium. I'll have to look up the strength of that one.

right, lug load calculations will have to be run and analized.

Stainless is brittle, aluminum is weak. They are just a shot in the dark.

Titanium i know they make, but the smallest I have found is 5/8.

These aint for the average drag or street car. Alot smaller scale. Restricted Honda F4I. turbocharged 600cc with a 19mm restriction on E-85. 450lb

Either redesign your tone wheel, or just use the lugs as the trigger signal.
