Ok, I have a 9 bolt rear with 2.77 gears! The only thing I can put in this thing is 3.08 gears!! How would I swap to a 3 series, 9 bolt carrier if I could find one so that I can put 3.45s or 3.70s in there!???

I don't have much experience with the 9-bolt, so I don't know if they used "2" series and "3" series carriers like the 10-bolt did. Anyway, to switch carriers, you just remove the old one, and put the new one in. I would say swap out the ring gear, but your old "2" series wouldn't fit on the "3" series carrier, so you would have to get a new ring gear.
