I have a noise comming from a freshly installed 4th gen rear in my car. I cant seem to figure out what it is. It it consistant with speed. I replaced the axle bearings with repair bearings on both sides dont know if they make noise untill they make a new seat on the axle? Its the only thing I can think of.

Its not gear whine or the brakes maybe the e-brake?

Its a 99 Ls1 rear with 3.42 posi and LPW support cover.

Will that cover amplify any carrier bearing noise because of the cap supports? Yes it is only torqued to spec 10ft pounds on the carrier bearing load bolts.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
