tranny is toast?????????
I was cruising down the interstate the other day and I went to hammer on the car and the 700R4 revved up to about 4500rpms but wouldn't kick back down the tach just kept jumping and the car was surging, so I took it easy all the way home. It goes through the gears fine when you don't mash the throttle, but has a lot of trouble with the passing gear.
There is also a huge puddle of tranny fluid under the car know, way more than a quart. This is after I let the car sit for a few days. Is my 700R4 absolutely toast??? Any help would be appreciated.
