Boy am I annoyed...this has been the biggest hassle since Creation. Turns out I bought a 4.3 V6 T-5 from a tranny shop that told me it was an 8. Went to bolt it up, and it wouldn't mate. Even with my original bellhousing, it wouldn't fit. Looking inside the fork, one beholds 1 inch tall letters saying " V6 " ...so BEWARE!!!! Look at forks before buying T-5s. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Yep, brought it back this morning...they had no idea. It was a surprise to the guys at the tranny shop...go figure. Anyway, traded it for my rebuilt WC T-5...only I didn't know it was a WC until now! So everything worked out. Yay!!
