governer install

Hey guys, I swapped a .030 350 into my camaro, 350RWHP....

Anyway, I am looking to install a B&M governer recalibration kit in my 700r4. How does it go in? I have installed 2 shift kits and a corvette servo in my day but have no clue about a governer recalibration kit? From what I can tell it looks like I have to take off the tailshaft??

Should just remove the clip holding the governor cover in place then remove the governor cover, then pull the assembly out.

Re: governer install

Yes, and it's easier to work w/ than the servo. Have a pan to catch the fluid that is likely to come out. It won't be much if you don't have to lower the tail of the trans to get the governor out. But if you do, you can lose up to a quart or so of trans fluid.

Also, if you end up lowering the trans tail, be sure to remove your dist cap or at least have someone watching to make sure you dont end up cracking it.
