trans fluid
its probably the tailshaft seal it couldnet be the front pump seal if it leaks when its off. change the tail shaft seal and put some K&N trans stopleak and tuneup in it after you change the "tss".

The previous post is wrong.
The leak is the fill tube O-ring. When the trans is running, fluid is sucked up out of the pan and into the torque converter, so the level is below that hole. When you shut the engine down the fluid all runs back into the pan and the level is much higher. This is a very common problem.
Of course, you could just get up under it and look, it shoud be rather obviuos where it leaks.
