changing gears
I just purchased a 92 z with the rpo codes showing it is a posi with limited slip. I believe the limited slip isworn out and I wanted to know what it involves to change to 373s and rebuild the limited slip. or what should I be paying a shop to do it ? thanks avcamaro87@aol.com

about 3-4 hours labor to swap gears, another hour or so to rebuild the posi. you might want to look into just buying another posi carrier and swaping ring gears. what gears do you have now or do you know? might get lucky and already have 3:73s.
