ok i bought a B&M megashifter put it in, in OCT '00. then last month the casing broke and the cable wouldnt work right. and the 5' cable they send it way to long.
questions
1. why did the casing break? it was installed correct.
2. what size should i buy this time 3'or 4'?

Did you curve the cable over the top of the transmission like the instruction book said to do? If not, maybe that's why it cracked.

You're the second person I've heard of that had their cable break like that! I wonder if B&M had a run of bad cables. I put my Megashifter in around mid-'97, and the cable B&M included has been fine so far...

ok but now i need to know what size to order.. and i may have routed it a little different than the instructions. but i need to know whether 3' or 4'. thanks
