well 2nd gear is almost gone...when i go from 3rd-2nd it slips sometimes....the tranny hasn't felt right lately....with the shift kit the 3-2 downshift is hard...well it slipped 2 times yesterday....sooooooooo should i rebuild the 700r4 or go stick? it will probably cost around the same

Rebuilding the 700R4 costs around $1200-1500. Getting a T56 costs that much for the trans alone, plus the extra parts and the hassle of doing it.

Cant stress this enough. use a trans cooler and flush your old cooler lines. This can make the trans last alot longer."hmmm 40$ now or 1500$ later? you decide "

And ditch and/or clean the old torque converter if you re-use it!
