Hmm, i didn't think of this...
Recently had my 84 700r4 go out, so i found a 87 305 with a 700r4, dropped it, but the guy didn't let me keep the TC, big deal right? i'll just use mine, nope, spline counts changed from 27 to 30 sometime between 84 and 87. just out of curiosity, will my driveshaft fit over the output shaft? or is that ganna be all messed up too?

output didn't change. Standard 27 spline, just like all other GM rwd trans except th400/4l80e.
