700r shifting to early at Wot

Transmission: A4
Axle/Gears: 3.73 10 Bolt
700r shifting to early at Wot

so my trany shifts way to early at full trottle in "D" it will shift at like 3800-4000...ive been reserching and all i can find is tvcable (misadjusted) and governer reclab kits......the trany does have high mileage tho..but i need a shed of light on this thx

Did you verify that your TV cable is adjusted properly? Checking fluid level couldn't hurt either...

problem fixed...now it shifts at like 4500 and feels like a whole new animal...thx so much
