Is a 200ci anygood

I recently bought an 82 Berlinetta and for the longest time I just assumed it was a 700r4. Then i checked, and it was only a 3 speed. So i looked it up and it is a 200c. Are these trannys any good, what are their faults, what are their good points? Thanks

No overdrive and it won't handle much power are some of the faults. When it burns up on you, a th350 is an easy and cheap swap. I would never rebuild the th200c or buy another. IMO the 700r4 is worth the time, effort, and money.
