5 speed swap

In the tech section I saw the article on swaping a 5 speed into an auto car. It didn't mention anything about replacing the radiator. I know that metal lines run from the radiator to the trans, wouldn't I have to change that as well? I'm trying to decide wether to swap in a 5 speed or do something with my automatic.

The metal lines to the radiator are the automatic transmission cooling lines. When going to 5-speed, you just don't hook them up. There is no need to plug them as the radiator fluid won't leak out.

The 5-speed swap is pretty straight forward, but a lot of work. There are a few articles on this board so check it out. If you find a donor car with all the parts you need that will help a lot.
