I was offered a posi rearend out of a '87 or '89 Camaro w/discs for free today. So I said Hell Yeeeeeeeeah!!! So now I want to know if anyone can tell me what it may be. All I know is that its stock out of one of the above cars. I figure it should be a pretty straight forward swap in my '91 Bird, except for changing from drums to discs. Anyone do this, any tips, anything to look for? Thanks for all the help.

 

The axle stamping number is stamped on the front of the right hand axle housing.
