Trans Go Shift Kit Questions....B&M comparison??
Trans Go Shift Kit Questions....B&M comparison??
For the longest time I wanted the B&M Transpak kit for my 700R4. After reading the horror stories about B&M I pretty much have decided to go with Trans Go. I have a few questions. Is the installation pretty easy and straightforward like the B&M is?? I read somewhere that the trans go kit even comes with a video?? Also, will this kit be "bearable" as far as the shifts go. My car is a daily driver. I drive it to college everyday (about 30 miles one way). I will probably never race my car (legally) but I want a good shift kit that doesnt shift too hard for a daily driver. Also I read on a post that Pro Built Automatics sells this kit and you can get it with the corvette servo and with the extra boost valves(?). Does the kit from Summit already include this stuff? Sorry if I sound really nieve (but i am). I just dont want to spend the time or the money on something if Im not going to like it. Thanks for any help.
Yes the kit does come with a video, as well as the corvette servo. You can set the firmness of the shifts to how you want them, by just adding how many (washers)? you want I believe.
The kit from summit should come with everything. If you are still unsure just call and ask them, they would be glad to help.

BTS88IROC is right, the one Summit is the "video" version and it does come with the large boost valves & Corvette servo. What I offer is the kit without video.
Hope This Helps!!!
