Can't get axles out... HELP!!!!

I have pulled the rear and am rebuilding it (10 bolt). I am having trouble getting the pinion shaft out. Any secrets? I have removed the pinion shaft lock bolt but the shaft will not budge. Please help.

do you need the carrier? or are you installing a new one? if you don't need it you can grind it down to the pin. then on the gears side as well but, you don't have to go all the way down just weaken it and drive the pin out it will break it self out the rest of the way.

I have a new carrier. Where would I grind, where the locking bolt would go?

Grind out the area where the locking bolt goes through the carrier to the pin. You will want to stuff rags in the pumpkin to the dust/crap doesn't get into the housing too much.
