Shift Kit (Too many miles?)

I was wondering what you guys think about installing a shift kit in to a transmission with 135,000 miles on it. It is a 700R4 and works perfect.

I put a shift kit in a Tranny with 87,000 miles on it with no problems. I don't see any problem with it but you might get some expert advice from Pro Built or Tranny Doc.

It is the condition of the transmission, not the miles that is important. Does the fluid still look red? In the bottom of the pan are there pieces of metal stuck to the magnet?, or some black powder in the pan or coating the bottom of the pan. If this is the case, then putting in any valve body kit is not going too help!!!
