I pulled my 305 and dropped a 355 in and second gear stopped working after about 20 miles-1st,3rd,and 4th work fine-converter locks up. I was obvioulsy beating on it but the tranny chirped second for as long as ive owned it. its only got 78,000 miles. Any ideas???? dont want to fork $1,700 to b&m for a rebiuld unlesss i have to

Maybe you blew one of the seals inside the servo out. They're teflon (durable) but it's the only explaination I could come up with on how you can lose 2nd, but not 4th.
