Anybody with Tremec TKO?
What is your rear end gear ratio? What is your speed at 65MPH in 5th. Is 1st gear a waste with 3.73's?

In normal driving I usually start out in 2nd gear! Especially in any sort of wet weather. I haven't tracked my car yet with slicks though so I might appreciate the 3.73's more when I do. In 5th I'm cruising at about 22-2400 rpms. In 4th (1.1 ratio) I'm around 32-3400 rpms which I thought to be high at first considering my Monte SS w/ 3.73's only cruised at approx. 28-3000 rpms (w/ th350). Then I took into consideration the tires, the monte had 255/60/15's which are 27" in diameter while my Z has 255/50/16's which are only 26.1" in diameter. That missing inch makes for a lot more revolutions.
Anyway, how do you like the Tremec? Mine feels a little notchy but I'm willing to live with that considering it'll handle almost anything I throw at it!

Haven't ordered it yet. Just wondering if I should stay with 3.42 or change to 3.73's.
