delay in shifting gears in my 89 rs, is it gonna die?
when i accelerate, sometimes there's a delay in the upshift, and it just started recently. is my tranny going bad, or what could be the problem? what should i do? and i don't know if it's related or not, but at times to just driveing down the road, it feels like the car is like puttering or something like that. could it be something related to the fuel maybe, pump, ect? your help would be greatly appriciated.

i would get the fluid changed,sounds like the filters clogged.if that doe'nt fix it then its screwed.you haven't messed with your trottle cable?
