Everyone Keeps talking about slps. What will they do? And can I put them in my 2.73? I plan to which to a 3.23 after a while, will the slps convert over?

I think you might be a little confused, SLP is a company that sells performance parts for late model Chevys. You're probably talking about the SLP positraction, that's what most people seem to be talking about on this board. The posi will lock both wheels together if one starts to slip too much. It won't work with stock GM 2.73s, but if you get 3.23s made for a 3 series carrier then they'll work. You'll also need 28 spline axles if you don't already have them. Thirdgens until around 1989 came with 26 spline axles.

Hope this helps,

Jason
