No lock-up??, need help...FAST!

I'm not sure of which forum to put this in, carbs or tranny, so I'll put it up in both.
Anyway, I recently swapped my computer-controlled q-jet, for a non-computer controlled Edelbrock #1405. I also swapped in a rebuilt non computer-controlled HEI distributor. It's a vac. advance set up.

The car runs great, however, my torque converter lock-up isn't working now due to the lack of ECM controll. How do I fix this??? Any help would be great..
P.S.- It's a 700r4 tranny..

Thanks

Several companies make a kit with everything you need to make the converter lock up again. I like TCI's best, P/N 376600, you can get it at Summit or Jeg's.

I'm looking into controling my 700r4 w/o a ecm also. What makes you perfer this kit? Has anyone had any experence with the gm kit (p.n.24502513)? Just weighing my options, thanks.

The TCI kit comes with a vaccuum switch and 4th gear switch, which is all you really need for this application. It also comes with the 4 pin switch and some wiring.

The Painless Wiring kit comes with vaccuum switch, 4th gear switch, TCC solenoid, brake pedal switch and some wiring. The Painless kit is a little more complete for putting into a car that's never had a 700R4, but for an F-body you're just paying for more things you don't need.

B&M also makes a kit which I don't like for 2 reasons:
1. It makes lockup speed dependent and not demand dependend.
2. It's made by B&M.

The GM kit is for putting a replacement 4L60 into a car that originally came with a 700R4, it doesn't really have what you need.

If you want to make the lockup switch yourself:
