speed O calibration

Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.27 4 wheel disc
speed O calibration

I have a 92 RS that I replaced the rear end I installed a BW 9 bolt with 3.27
gears I think the stock rear end had 2.73 do I need to change any thing in the trans to correct the speed O

Yes, you need to change the drive gear and driven gear in the tailshaft of the transmission.

You can this forum for "3.23 speedo" or "3.27 speedo" and find the correct gear sizes and probably the part numbers too.

I got a chart from my local cheye dealer and all I need to change is the driven to a 45 my drive will stay the same its a 17
