Clutch slipped now hard to go into gear

I ran the car on ET streets tonight, and they hooked too good. I launched at 4000 rpm and the clutch slipped, I tried to shift to second, but it would not go into gear until about a second later. It seemed like it was hard to shift the next two time even through I went back to the radials. It now is very difficult to downshift into second. I am thinking syncro? any other Ideas?

If you power-shifted it, you may have worn down the teeth on the 2nd gear blocker ring.

Try this...

Next time you attempt to downshift, double clutch it. In other words, slow down to a speed where you know 2nd gear matches. Press the clutch in and shift to neutral. Release the clutch and blip the throttle. Right after blipping the throttle, push the clutch in and shift into second. If this works, then its the synchro/blocker ring. If not, you may have either bent or broken a shift fork.
